Hey im Joe =P

I play lead guitar.. and im also the web massa, massa uv luv. =P haha
I am 26 years old and ive been playing guitar for 9 years. I have an old Sunn amp that i love dearly. I also use Hughes and Kettner amps. The first guitar i had was when i was about 3 or 4. my parents bought me this little plastic uke..
man i played that thing till the strings came off. after that, oddly enough, i completely forgot about music and instruments (except for the occasional pot and pan), until i was much older.
One day when i was 17, my dad brought home this old classical guitar that he had gotten in trade for some work he did. I touched it..and after that all was lost. =P
hes still never gotten it back. ;)
My dad used to take me out to open mic blues jams in the city and watch me play. I remember once when I started a set, the place was almost empty. I got into a zone where all I could see and hear was the music and I started rocking. When I looked up after the set, the place was packed wall to wall with everyone clapping. I was feeling the groove that night and never wanted to leave it. As I walked down I thanked every head in the club that night. That was one of those experiences that i will remember for the rest of my life.
hes always wanted to play music.. but never really could hear well enough to do it. thats why im glad he is able to enjoy when i play.

Im interested in many things.. as my friends would tell you im kind of a nut. =P
i'll do anything once.. twice if i find out its fun and im not dead. Roller coasters present a challenge to me though.. so go figure.

On a side note, i think that legos, pez, and good massages are the end-all be-all of human existence.

When it comes to music, i have a very varied taste. Maybe its because i can never figure out what to listen to.. then again.. maybe its because im nuts and i experience many moods at once.(i hate you. kiss me.)
I dig many kinds of music.. but my favorites would have to be Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, BB King, SRV, Janis & the holding company, alllll 60's Motown, George Clinton, James Brown, Sly & the Family, and the Ramones.
Im still a member of my first band which came together on my birthday in 1997. That band is called Taichiwawa. We still jam from time to time. Actually, Monty from Stikkmann is one of the members. we have a few songs recorded..i might have to put them up for download one day.
